Thank you for being part of the mystical world of author and storyteller P.B. Young.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully, as they contain important information about your legal rights and obligations, as well as ours.

By accessing or using the Articulated Media website (“AM Website”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. These Terms form a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Articulated Media.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the AM Website, including any subdomains thereof, and any other websites through which Articulated Media makes its services available (collectively, the “Site”), along with all associated services (collectively, the “Services”). The Site and Services together are referred to as the Articulated Media Platform. All policies of the Articulated Media Platform are incorporated by reference into this Agreement.

When these Terms mention “Articulated Media,” “Articulated Media Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” they refer to Prolet Mladenova, the entity with whom you are entering into this Agreement.

Platform Services

The Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”) is an online service that enables registered users (“Members”) to engage with content in two ways:

• Publishing Members (Behind the Veil): Members with publishing rights may create and share their own texts (“Articles” or “Posts”) and communicate directly with other Members. Publishing Members are solely responsible for their own Articles or Posts and retain ownership of their copyrights. Articulated Media does not claim ownership of Member‑generated content, nor does it act as a publisher or agent for such content, except where expressly stated in a separate written agreement. When Members or site users submit their texts, they enter into a contract directly with Articulated Media/Prolet Mladenova. However, the AM Platform is not and does not become a party to, or participant in, any contractual relationship between Members.
• Reading Members (Lore Keeper and The Immortal): Members without publishing rights may access and read Articles or Posts made available on the AM Platform. Reading Members are expressly prohibited from copying, transmitting, distributing, or otherwise reproducing any Articles or Posts in any form without prior written consent from Articulated Media.

As the provider of the AM Platform, Articulated Media owns, creates, sells, resells, provides, controls, manages, offers, delivers, and supplies only the Articles and/or Posts created by the author P.B. Young.

Disclaimers

While we may assist in facilitating the resolution of disputes, the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”) has no control over, and does not guarantee:

1. The existence, quality, safety, suitability, or legality of any Articles published by Members with publishing rights;
2. The truthfulness or accuracy of any Article descriptions, Ratings, Reviews, or other Member Content.

The AM Platform does not endorse any Member, Article, or related content.

Furthermore, Articles published on the AM Platform will not be displayed on third‑party websites, within emails, or in online or offline advertisements by the AM Platform, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Third‑Party Services

The Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”) does not contain links to third‑party websites or resources (“Third‑Party Services”).

Any Articles that include references to Third‑Party Services may only contain links originating from the author’s personal cloud storage. The AM Platform is not responsible or liable for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of such Third‑Party Services, nor for any content, products, or services made available through them.

Members acknowledge that any use of Third‑Party Services is at their own risk, and that the AM Platform does not endorse or assume responsibility for such external resources.

Accounts and Member Content

To access and use certain features of the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”), such as publishing an Article/Post, you must register and maintain an account (“AM Account”).

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your AM Account credentials.

You must promptly notify us if you know or have reason to suspect that your credentials have been lost, stolen, misappropriated, or otherwise compromised, or in the event of any actual or suspected unauthorised use of your Account. You are liable for all activities conducted through your Account.

Member Content License

By creating, uploading, posting, sending, receiving, storing, or otherwise making available any content (“Member Content”) on the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”), Publishing Members grant Articulated Media a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to publish and make their Member Content available solely within the Behind the Veil club.

This license allows Articulated Media to display, transmit, and otherwise provide access to the Member Content only to other registered Members of the Behind the Veil club, in accordance with the limits of the author’s chosen membership.

Member Content will not be distributed, transmitted, or made accessible outside of the Behind the Veil club without the author’s prior written consent. Authors retain ownership of their copyrights at all times.

Use of Member Content will only occur in compliance with applicable data protection laws and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cameo Rights (Lore Keeper)

Within the Lore Keeper membership, readers may be offered the option to appear as a “Cameo” character inspired by them. By accepting a cameo, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Creative Control: All cameo characters are created and written solely by P.B. Young. Cameo participants may inspire a character, but the author retains full creative control over how the character is portrayed.
• No Ownership Rights: Cameo participants do not acquire any ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights in the character or the work in which the character appears. All rights remain with Articulated Media and P.B. Young.
• Limited Use: Cameo characters are used exclusively within the AM Platform, its related works, and in published books authored by P.B. Young (including e‑book, paperback, and hardcover editions). Cameo participants may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise exploit the character outside the AM Platform or published works.
• Consent to Representation: By agreeing to a cameo, participants consent to having a character inspired by them appear in fictional works. Cameo participants understand that portrayals may be stylised, exaggerated, or fictionalised, and agree that such portrayals do not constitute defamation or misrepresentation.

No Payment or Royalties

• Immortal Membership: Life Credits granted under the Immortal membership tier are symbolic benefits and recognition within the AM Platform and related works. They do not entitle Members to any payment, royalties, profit‑sharing, or financial compensation of any kind.
• Cameo Appearances: Cameo participants acknowledge that their cameo character may appear in works authored by P.B. Young, including within the AM Platform and published formats (e‑book, paperback, hardcover). Cameo participants do not acquire any ownership rights, royalties, or financial compensation related to such works. All rights remain exclusively with Articulated Media and P.B. Young.

Prohibited Activities

When using the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”), you agree that you will not post, upload, publish, submit, or transmit any Content that:

• Is fraudulent, false, misleading, or deceptive, unless clearly identified as a work of fiction in the Description field;
• Is defamatory, libellous, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive, unless clearly identified as a work of fiction in the Description field;
• Promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group;
• Is violent, threatening, or encourages violence or actions that could harm any person or animal, unless clearly identified as a work of fiction in the Description field.

Members who submit fictional works must explicitly state in the Description field that the content is a work of fiction. This ensures that readers understand the context and distinguish such works from factual or harmful content.

When submitting content to the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”), Members must complete the Description field. The Description is a short statement that explains the nature of the submitted work. Examples include:

• Chapter of a novel
• Short story
• One paragraph
• Graphic scene
• Work of fiction
• Memoir

The Description helps distinguish the type and context of the content, and in the case of fictional works, ensures that readers understand the material is imaginative rather than factual. Members are responsible for accurately labelling their submissions in the Description field.

As a Member, by submitting your work, you declare that the content is your own original work and not plagiarised.

We respect copyright law and expect our Members to do the same. If you believe that any content on the AM Platform infringes copyrights you own, please notify us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Membership and Payments

• Voluntary Membership: Membership registration on the Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”) is entirely voluntary. Members may choose from different membership levels to access additional features and services.
• Secure Payment Processing: All payments for membership are processed through trusted third‑party payment gateway websites to ensure better security. The AM Platform does not store or handle your payment information directly.

• You will be charged in the currency as indicated at the checkout phase, which, if not the currency of your bank account, will be converted by your bank into the currency of your bank account when processed. We are not responsible for any additional fees your own bank may charge.
• Non‑Refundable Payments: Payments made for any membership level are non‑refundable. By completing a payment, you acknowledge and agree that no refunds will be issued, regardless of usage or cancellation.

Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution

The Articulated Media Platform (“AM Platform”) is provided on an “as‑is” basis. The AM Platform is not liable for any damages resulting from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Services;
• Any communications, interactions, or meetings with other Members or persons arising from your use of the AM Platform;
• Your publishing of any Article or Post.

Arbitration Agreement

You and the AM Platform mutually agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, including their applicability, breach, termination, validity, enforcement, or interpretation, or to your use of the AM Platform, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration.

You and the AM Platform acknowledge and agree that:

• We are each waiving the right to a trial by jury with respect to all arbitrable disputes;
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are each waiving the right to participate as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action lawsuit, class‑wide arbitration, private attorney general action, or any other representative proceeding with respect to all disputes.

Sub‑Site Terms

Please note that these Terms of Service apply generally to the AM Platform. Each sub‑site may have its own specific Terms of Service, which you must read carefully before registering an account or using the services provided therein.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings, not subject to arbitration, shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Caen, Normandy, France.
